Study on allocation and realization method of helicopter vulnerability index

To reduce the vulnerability of attack helicopters under fragment/projectile strikes, method assigning index from whole aircraft to critical components single and multiple attacks is mainly studied. Under a strike, system in same direction are divided into three situations: no component overlap, nonredundant model with overlap redundant overlap. Two allocation methods based on ratio presented area assessment results proposed. The non-redundant components, an proportion components' proposed strikes. On this basis, combining reduction measures helicopters, requirements corresponding achieved through iterative analysis. Finally, AH-64D helicopter subjected simulation tests indexes B-level C-level assigned, which verified feasibility method.
